You'll ideally have several years of commercial Software Engineering experience and be comfortable working across different parts of the technology stack. Experience with some of the following would be valuable: SOFTWARE ENGINEERING * Full Stack Software Development * Python development * JavaScript / TypeScript or similar frontend technologies * REST APIs and frameworks such as Flask or Django * Git, automated testing and CI/CD * Strong software design and engineering practices * Linux development environments DATA & INTEGRATION * Application or systems integration * Databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL * Data lakes / modern data platforms * Event-driven architectures or messaging * Building connected workflows between different systems AI / ML * Experience working alongside AI/ML or data science teams * Exposure to Machine Learning or Computer Vision * Python-based ML technologies such as PyTorch * ML pipelines or model deployment * Image or video processing * An interest in integrating AI/ML into production software You don't need experience across all of these areas - a strong software engineer with breadth, curiosity and an interest in AI/ML is exactly what we're looking for., If you're an SC or MOD DV cleared Software Engineer who enjoys working across the stack and has an interest in AI/ML, Computer Vision or emerging technologies, we'd love to hear from you. This isn't a role where you'll be expected to be a dedicated Machine Learning Engineer or pure frontend developer. We're looking for someone comfortable getting involved across the software stack, solving difficult engineering problems and working alongside AI/ML specialists to turn emerging technology into usable, production-ready software.
