## About the Role

You will need to have demonstrable experience working in the Defence and National Security Sectors., You will be an experienced Solutions Architect with a strong track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
You will ideally have:

 * Strong experience gathering requirements and developing end-to-end solution architectures.
 * Experience with public cloud platforms, ideally AWS and/or Azure.
 * Broad technical knowledge across modern and legacy environments.
 * Excellent customer-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
 * Experience within Defence and/or Central Government environments.
 * Previous pre-sales experience, including solution shaping, technical proposals and estimating.
 * Knowledge of TOGAF, ArchiMate or Zachman would be advantageous.
 * Knowledge of GDS standards or government delivery frameworks would be beneficial.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain UK SC security clearance.

## Description

As a Solutions Architect, you will design scalable, secure and commercially viable solutions that address complex customer requirements.
Working closely with customers, delivery teams, Sales and Business Development, responsibilities will include:

 * Understanding customer objectives and translating functional and non-functional requirements into effective solution architectures.
 * Designing end-to-end enterprise solutions across modern, cloud and legacy technology environments.
 * Developing technical strategies, architectural roadmaps and solution designs.
 * Providing technical leadership to Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and Developers throughout delivery.
 * Leading solution and architecture reviews to ensure designs meet customer, security and regulatory requirements.
 * Supporting pre-sales activity, including shaping opportunities, developing technical proposals and presenting solutions.
 * Producing solution estimates, cost models, risk assessments and business cases.
 * Evaluating emerging technologies and identifying opportunities to improve customer solutions and services.
