## About the Role

* Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline - for example Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or similar - or equivalent professional experience
 * Experience with analytics in the process industry
 * Experience with Python for scripting and data analytics
 * Professional fluency in English is required. Additional proficiency in French, German, Dutch, or Spanish is highly valued.
 * Proactive, independent worker with strong verbal and written communication skills

## Description

We are always interested in connecting with talented Data Analytics Engineers (gn) who want to help our customers get real value from process data. There's no open position for this role just yet - we're building a talent pool of qualified candidates so we can move quickly once hiring starts. We review applications on an ongoing basis and will reach out as soon as a matching opportunity opens up.
This role can be performed largely remotely, with regular travel to customer sites. We especially welcome candidates based near Hasselt (Belgium) or in regions with a strong concentration of our customers - including Barcelona (Spain), Cologne (Germany), and Houston (Texas) - with travel to an office for team moments and specific occasions.

Your Role

As a DAE (gn), you will combine deep knowledge of our process data analytics platform with a general understanding of the process industry to functionally support our customers. You will:

 * Quickly build deep platform expertise to serve as an internal and external functional expert, driven by your affinity for technology and data analytics.
 * Work on data analytics use cases alongside customers, collaborating with their process experts to achieve outcomes with TrendMiner - while transferring knowledge to make them more self-sufficient, and bringing high-value use cases back as input for product and marketing.
 * Deliver introductory trainings to new user groups, and enable customer-side "train-the-trainer" champions.
 * Act as the voice of the customer internally, helping shape further product development.
 * Implement custom solutions on top of TrendMiner using Python for high-value use cases requiring customization or automation, translating customer needs into functional requirements.

As part of our Customer Success team, this is a highly customer-facing role. You will interact with industrial process experts worldwide across Chemicals, Food & Beverage, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas, Discrete Manufacturing, and more. Most interactions are remote, but up to 25% travel to customer sites is expected, ranging from day trips to international travel.
