The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment and communicating with a diverse group of stakeholders, including scientists, engineers, researchers, IT professionals, and vendors. ## Description Qnity is seeking an IT Application Support Contractor to join its Technology IT organization and support critical applications used across its Research & Development environment., The individual will provide Tier 2 application support, assist with user access and provisioning, troubleshoot technical issues, support data and application initiatives, and work closely with scientists, engineers, researchers, IT teams, and software vendors., Application Support * Provide Tier 2 support for R&D applications, including ELN, LIMS, Document Management Systems, and other scientific applications. * Troubleshoot and resolve application, access, and user-reported issues. * Log, track, prioritize, and resolve support tickets within established service-level expectations. * Monitor application health and identify recurring issues or opportunities for improvement. * Assist with incident resolution, outage reporting, and root-cause investigations. * Escalate complex issues to vendors, infrastructure teams, or senior technical resources when appropriate. User Access & System Administration * Support user onboarding, provisioning, deprovisioning, and access changes. * Assist with Active Directory group ownership and membership for supported applications. * Support service-account requests and periodic access reviews. * Help maintain application security and ensure adherence to IT security, audit, and data-governance requirements. Data & Application Management * Assist with data archival, cleanup, migration, and validation activities. * Support bulk data imports and transfers between repository systems. * Assist with application testing, validation, configuration, upgrades, patches, and implementations. * Coordinate with software vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues and support system enhancements. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on application usability, stability, and user adoption.
