## About the Role

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related Engineering/Business discipline. ITIL-trained certificate. Active SECRET Security Clearance. Degree substitution is not permitted.

Work Experience Mandatory:

 * Minimum eight (8) years of Configuration Management experience supporting enterprise IT environments. Experience performing Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Verification, Configuration Audits, Change Management, Configuration Control Board (CCB) support, Configuration Management Database (CMDB) development and maintenance, and ITSM-based Configuration Management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education/Certifications Nice To Have:

 * ITIL Foundation or higher, Configuration Management training, CMDB administration training, DoD Configuration Management coursework.

Work Experience Nice To Have:

 * Experience supporting DoD enterprise communications infrastructure, Network Operations, ServiceNow or other CMDB platforms, RFC workflow automation, Knowledge Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), engineering change management, MIL-HDBK-61A, ANSI/EIA-649A, ISO 10007.

Job Description:
Security Clearance:

 * Secret, * Lead the enterprise Configuration Management program supporting JCSE. Perform configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, configuration verification, and configuration audits.
 * Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan, Change Management Plan, Configuration Control Board Charter, and Request for Change (RFC) workflows.
 * Establish and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring configuration item accuracy, relationships, and lifecycle traceability.
 * Support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), engineering change coordination, configuration baselines, documentation repositories, knowledge management, data cleansing, CMDB validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), configuration reporting, monthly status reporting, configuration training, and Government meetings.
 * Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of approved configuration changes while following IT Service Management (ITSM) standards, DoD Configuration Management guidance, and enterprise Configuration Management best practices.
