## About the Role

* 7+ years of experience in mainframe development, including design, analysis, and coding using:
 * COBOL (IMS)
 * JCL
 * CA7
 * DB2 and/or BigQuery
 * COBOL stored procedures
 * Real-time and batch processing
 * 2+ years of experience implementing z/OS Connect, SFTP, SOAP and REST APIs, and other methods for system-to-system communication and data exchange.
 * Ability to design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL and JCL to meet support and project requirements.
 * Experience using source code management tools such as Endeavor and GitHub.
 * Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve incidents and business-support issues.
 * Ability to perform application-support tasks, including systems support, security and audit reviews, and maintenance activities.
 * Ability to multitask effectively and prioritize work based on business impact and urgency.
 * Experience with unit and integration testing.

Experience Preferred

 * Experience with Google BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform.

 * Bachelor's Degree.

## Description

* Be an integral part of the Service Quality team, supporting Recall and Software products.
 * Provide on-call and production support.
 * Complete mandatory features supporting Software and compliance requirements.
 * Address product-team deliverables and actively manage the backlog.
 * Review and support defect-resolution efforts, assisting with prioritization within the backlog.
 * Ensure the product delivers strong value propositions for customers and the business.
 * Participate in the collaborative product-modernization journey alongside other IT product teams, vendors, and business customers.
