Additional experience may be substituted/considered/accepted in lieu of degree. * Ability to travel 75-100%. * Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with no breaks). * Proficiency in MS Office Suites., * 2+ years of experience working with Telco systems performing Network Troubleshooting. * Proficient working with AutoCAD or similar tools. * Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC), National Fire Protection Assoc (NFPA) standards, National Airspace System Equipment Tower. * Knowledge of OSHA and general construction and electrical safety standards. * Knowledge of NAS facilities such as ASR, ATCT, VOR, ARSR, RCAG. ## Description The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking a Telecommunications Engineering Technician to provide support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Central Service Area - Engineering Services Group located in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of the Brand-New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS). This new system will replace outdated infrastructure including radar, software, hardware and telecommunications networks to manage modern travel.
