Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance. * Years of SAP ABAP development and overall SAP experience: 3-5 years for mid-level, 6+ years for senior level. * Experience with S/4HANA. * Hands-on experience integrating backend SAP and non SAP applications. * Hands-on experience with SAP ABAP development and HANA CDS Views., * Implementation experience with SAP Fiori and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). * Proficiency in working with web services, proxies, and APIs for seamless system integration. * Technical expertise and hands-on experience with a wide range of ABAP technologies, including Reports, RFCs, Forms, Object-Oriented ABAP (OOP), BAPIs, Enhancements, BADIs, User Exits, Customer Exits, and Data Conversions (BDC, LSMW, IDocs, ALE, and Workflows). * Strong debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences. * Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations. * Public Trust clearance * Ability to self-learn new technologies in the UI space with minimal direction and supervision. Desired Skills & Experience * Experience with the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP). * Certifications in Application Development, SAP BTP, or Agile methodologies. # LI-SA1 ## Description SMX is seeking Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developers to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation project for a large government contract. As a Mid-Level Developer, you will actively participate in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design to deployment. This role is remote supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance., You will be responsible for translating user requirements into Technical Design Specifications and developing ABAP solutions that align with these designs.
