Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. now and in the future., * 5+ years of experience in a NOC, SOC, TechOps, Network Operations, Infrastructure Operations, or similar structured operations environment. * Strong understanding of incident management processes, SLAs, and escalation procedures. * Experience monitoring enterprise networks and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS or GCP. * Experience monitoring or supporting critical databases and infrastructure services. * Strong understanding of: * TCP/IP and general networking concepts * DNS * Authentication and identity services, including Entra ID * OAuth/OpenID Connect * SSL/TLS * Experience with modern monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Datadog, Kentik, LogicMonitor, or similar tools. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly during high-priority incidents. * Ability to work 100% onsite in Scottsdale, AZ. * Ability to work an assigned Day, Swing, or Overnight shift, including at least one weekend day each week and scheduled holiday coverage. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with incident and ticketing platforms such as: * PagerDuty * Opsgenie * ServiceNow * JIRA * Incident.io * Basic scripting experience with Python and/or Bash. * Linux fundamentals. * Familiarity with ITIL or another structured incident/service-management framework. * CompTIA Network+ or Security+ certification. * CCNA, JNCIA, or similar networking certification. ## Description We are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to join a 24/7 Network Operations Center (NOC) supporting critical technology infrastructure for a leading autonomous mobility organization. This role serves as a frontline technical resource responsible for monitoring infrastructure, responding to alerts, triaging incidents, and escalating complex issues to specialized engineering teams. You will work closely with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and other technical teams to identify recurring issues and contribute to long-term reliability improvements. The ideal candidate has experience in a NOC, TechOps, SOC, or similar mission-critical operations environment and is comfortable troubleshooting infrastructure issues in real time while maintaining clear communication during high-priority incidents., * Monitor critical IT services, networks, cloud infrastructure, databases, DNS, authentication services, and other systems in a 24/7 operating environment. * Acknowledge, investigate, and triage system alerts and incidents affecting live services. * Troubleshoot infrastructure and connectivity issues and participate in escalation calls as needed. * Follow established incident-management procedures, SLAs, and escalation paths. * Escalate complex or specialized issues to the appropriate engineering teams. * Partner with SRE and engineering teams to identify recurring issues and improve system reliability. * Participate in incident retrospectives and provide recommendations to reduce recurring incidents and service disruptions. * Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, troubleshooting activities, resolutions, and escalations. * Prepare clear shift-handoff notes and service-status reports to ensure operational continuity. * Support continuous improvement of monitoring, incident response, and operational processes., This is a 100% onsite position in Scottsdale, AZ supporting a 24/7 operations environment. Three primary shifts are available: * Day Shift * Swing Shift * Overnight Shift Shift assignment will be determined during the interview process based on business requirements and candidate availability. Important: Every schedule includes at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week, and holiday coverage is required as part of the 24/7 operational rotation.
