## About the Role

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
 * At least 10 years of software engineering experience, including a minimum of 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
 * Proven track record leading large, distributed or multidisciplinary engineering teams.
 * Strong expertise in modern software development, cloud architecture, DevOps and CI/CD practices.
 * Experience designing and delivering scalable enterprise software, microservices, APIs and distributed systems.
 * Demonstrated success delivering complex software products and platforms at scale.
 * Strong understanding of high-availability, secure, and resilient systems.
 * Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, alongside Kubernetes, containers and Infrastructure as Code.
 * Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management and strategic decision-making skills.
 * Experience managing engineering budgets, workforce planning and operational performance.

## Description

* Provide strategic and technical leadership across multiple software engineering teams.
 * Develop engineering roadmaps aligned with business objectives, product strategy and organizational growth.
 * Lead, mentor and develop Engineering Managers and Senior Engineers while building high-performing teams.
 * Oversee the delivery of complex software initiatives, ensuring quality, reliability and timely execution.
 * Establish engineering standards, architectural principles, coding practices and operational best practices.
 * Guide system architecture, scalability, platform modernisation and long-term technical strategy.
 * Ensure software solutions meet high standards for performance, security, reliability and availability.
 * Drive continuous improvement across Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and quality assurance practices.
 * Partner with Product, Data, Security, Infrastructure and other cross-functional teams to align priorities and delivery.
 * Communicate engineering strategy, performance, risks and priorities to senior and executive stakeholders.
