You will join a long-running MDM program at an international client, working in a tight squad with a dedicated senior coach at your side and experienced architects behind you. Not a bootcamp, not a bench: real domains, real users, real impact from week one., * A Master's degree (or strong Bachelor's) in a quantitative, IT, engineering, business or related field. * 0 to 2 years of experience: fresh graduates are just as welcome as profiles with a first professional experience in data, analytics or IT. * Demonstrated affinity with data: through your studies, a thesis, an internship or personal projects. * A basis in SQL and comfort with at least one scripting or programming language (Python or similar). We care about aptitude, not years. * Analytical sharpness and the communication skills to explain your findings to non-technical people. * Languages are a must: fluent Dutch or French, combined with professional English. * Preferably an exposure to an MDM or a data quality tool, cloud data services (Azure), or data modeling concepts. ## Description This role is deliberately broad. You will touch the full width of hands-on data work, and discover where you want to specialize: * Analyze master data across business domains such as customer, product, vendor and asset: profile it, find the duplicates and the gaps, understand what the business needs from it. * Configure and improve matching, deduplication and survivorship rules in an enterprise MDM platform. * Build and maintain data integrations and pipelines that connect the MDM platform to the wider data landscape. * Investigate and resolve data quality issues end to end, from detection to root cause to fix. * Work directly with business domain owners: prepare analyses, present findings, turn their requests into well-scoped work items. * Document as you go: runbooks, data flows and playbooks that make knowledge shared instead of personal. * Deliver in short, structured cycles with visible results every two weeks. Who You Are * You want to work with data itself, not only talk about it: digging into a dataset feels like solving a puzzle, not doing a chore. * You are as comfortable asking a business user "what do you actually need?" as you are writing a query to find out what they actually have. * You bring structure to what you touch: notes, documentation and clean logic come naturally. * You want to learn fast, from real seniors, on real work, and you are not afraid to say "I don't know yet." ## Related Videos - [Data Science in Retail](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/586-data-science-in-retail) - [Blueprints for Success: Steering a Global Data & AI Architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1577-blueprints-for-success-steering-a-global-data-ai-architecture) - [Tomorrow's cloud data platforms - fully managed database-as-a-service (DBaaS)](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/254-tomorrow-s-cloud-data-platforms-fully-managed-database-as-a-service-dbaas) - [Developer Tools for Microsoft Azure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/450-developer-tools-for-microsoft-azure) - [Data Science on Software Data](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/162-data-science-on-software-data) - [Databaseless Data Processing - High-Performance for Cloud-Native Apps and AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1024-databaseless-data-processing-high-performance-for-cloud-native-apps-and-ai) ## Related Articles - [The Most Popular IT Jobs on the Market](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/376-the-most-popular-it-jobs-on-the-market) - [Where to Find Entry-Level Software Engineering Jobs](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/397-where-to-find-entry-level-software-engineering-jobs) - [Best Companies in the Netherlands: Top 25 Companies in 2023 ](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/193-best-companies-in-the-netherlands-top-25-companies-in-2023) - [How to land a developer job in Amsterdam](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/36-how-to-land-a-developer-job-in-amsterdam) - [The Biggest German Tech Companies](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/424-the-biggest-german-tech-companies) - [System change: restart as developer?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/39-system-change-restart-as-developer)
