## About the Role

C++, Embedded , C#, Python / TypeScript, Scientific Instrumentation, Onsite (No Hybrid), * BSc / BEng in computer science, electronics or similar (ideally holding a Master's), and demonstrable commercial software experience working on application-level software for hardware instruments (Windows and Linux).

 * Strong programming skills with C++ including embedded. Experience with C# for instrumentation control and data analysis would be highly desirable. Any experience with Python or TypeScript would be advantageous.
 * Demonstrable experience taking ownership for software projects involving hardware. Experience with FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance would be a bonus.

This is a hands-on role, requiring good software skills and experience for taking project responsibility and delivery. The position is fully onsite at their offices, which is close to road (A505) and train links.

## Description

The company's main two product lines are well-received and require maintenance and iterative updates to keep them modern and abreast of new technology advancements. They are looking to hire a Software Engineer to take a lead role over one of these product lines and deliver new features.
