## About the Role

* HNC/Degree in engineering, strong in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
 * People management experience (coaching, workload)
 * Working knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and embedded software principles
 * Strong LabVIEW/TestStand experience in a test & measurement environment
 * Scripting experience (Python, VB, C/C++)
 * 3+ years in test engineering or test equipment development
 * Expert in V&V processes, multi-disciplinary systems experience

Desirable

 * EEE degree, NI certified developer
 * DOORS/EA experience, subsea/offshore background
 * CE/DNV compliance knowledge, advanced Excel

## Description

* Lead and line manage the Test Engineering team, including workload and third-party coordination
 * Derive test requirements from systems/sub-system specifications
 * Plan and design test cases across electro-mechanical systems (development and production phases)
 * Manage Test Reports and evidence for investigation conclusions
 * Design test jigs, harnesses and software, including automation
 * Manage internal test facilities (tanks, ovens, pools, lifting equipment) and liaise with external test labs (EMC, vibration, etc.)
 * Fault finding, failure analysis, and reporting
