## About the Role

* Expert programming experience in Java
 * Minimum 3 years developing distributed systems, microservice architecture preferred
 * Advanced knowledge of software design patterns and software resilience patterns
 * Software debugging and monitoring
 * Knowledge of Linux environments
 * Modern IDEs (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, Visual Studio or similar)
 * Very good written and spoken English
 * Strong teamwork with a customer and service-oriented working style
 * First experience working in international teams
 * Degree in computer science or business informatics, or equivalent work experience
 * Minimum 8 years in software development, + Software development in Quarkus (preferred) or Java Spring
 + Basic HTML, JavaScript and CSS
 + Advanced Git for source code versioning
 + Enterprise software development experience

## Description

* Develop MES software for lens manufacturing
 * Implement system functions, controls and algorithms
 * Implement unit tests to achieve reasonable test coverage
 * Work in an agile project run on Azure DevOps
 * Manage deployment of new and changed versions of the solution into edge environments
 * Diagnose issues across running services using MSSQL, MongoDB, Kafka and Docker
 * Create and maintain documentation and training material for owned services
 * Report bugs and resolve them at code level
