## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in systems, mechanical, electrical, or computer engineering
 * 10 years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering, with two of the years being full-time experience at the system level in any of the following areas: requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, productivity studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, post-delivery support of COE or EW Systems
 * Three years of full-time professional experience in each of the following skillsets/disciplines:
 + Operating Systems experience in Windows and Linux
 + Linux System administrator
 + Hardware and Software configuration management of tracking bug, enhancements, requirements, risks, test results, and tasks
 + System and Network Security related activities to include design, implementation, configuration and enforcement of security controls on network, hardware, and software components and devices
 * One year of full-time professional experience support of total Life-Cycle system design or equivalent academic background

## Description

The Systems Engineer will ensure the operational functionality of system releases by focusing on all aspects of system design and engineering/integration. The Systems Engineer will work with STEI stakeholders, development and support teams to develop and integrate secure capabilities., * Providing on-site engineering, support, and research of SIGINT/IO/EW/CSO systems

 * Identifying, deconflicting and orchestrating integration of innovative technology being developed throughout the community
 * Supporting systems engineering over a broad range of hardware types including RF assemblies, power supplies (AC and DC), FPGAs, digital signal processors, network/server equipment, and embedded architectures
 * Planing, testing, and providing technical expertise to the identification of innovative technology within the community
 * Evaluating vendor capabilities to provide required products and services
 * Analyzing, interpreting, and generating engineering schematics and change notices
 * Performing system and performance modeling
 * Performing root cause analysis
 * Designing hardware with respect to component/assembly analysis, specification, integration, and testing
 * Reviewing RF System/Subsystem analysis and specification
