 * SQL/T-SQL - querying and data manipulation
 * Data Modelling - preferably Star Schema
 * Power Query/M
 * Understanding of ETL/data integration
 * Good understanding of data quality and BI best practice
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable

 * Microsoft Fabric/Lakehouse experience
 * Azure Data Factory or Synapse
 * Python/PySpark
 * Data Warehousing
 * Medallion Architecture
 * Experience improving or developing existing BI environments
 * Exposure to metadata-driven data solutions
 * Microsoft certification in Power BI/Fabric
 * Financial Services

Financial Services experience is desirable, particularly experience working with complex data, reporting or regulatory requirements.
