## Description

Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures align with KNX IT Management defined policies and workflows.

 * Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the information security compliance strategy and security control frameworks in accordance with business and regulatory requirements.
 * Assist technical team to insure compliance with state and federal regulations.
 * Review security controls and recommend additional security controls for implementation.
 * Conduct audits and reviews of endpoint, network, and system security controls, and manage remediation efforts.
 * Conduct security reviews of the network security architecture to identify accesses and assess the risk to these changes.
 * Report unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources, and noncompliance situations using defined escalation processes.
 * Assist, as necessary, IT Security to perform security reviews of software and applications proposed for use.
 * Identify compliance gaps, process improvements, and risk remediation measures.
 * Develop and maintain documentation for applications, systems, and procedures.
 * Coordinate bi-annual user access reviews and ensure changes on the folder permissions are made in a timely fashion.
 * Revise controls for new or modified computer applications to prevent compliance gaps in policy, procedures, and control design.
 * Coordinate quarterly elevated access reviews to ensure access is appropriate.
 * Review password configurations and validate adherence to policy requirements.
 * Perform duties of Compliance Specialist as needed.
 * Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.
