## About the Role

* National Certificate in Engineering or equivalent - essential.
 * Experience in a systems/electrical engineering environment.
 * Experience with SCADA and communications systems.
 * Experience undertaking systems inspections and surveys.
 * Good record keeping and Microsoft Office skills.
 * SAP/asset management experience desirable.
 * HNC/Higher in Electrical & Electronic Engineering desirable.
 * Rail/tramway safety knowledge desirable.

Training will be provided where required.

## Description

* Planned and preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs.
 * Work across SCADA, communications, fibre optics, traction power, CCTV, radio, PABX, passenger information systems and LV systems.
 * Record maintenance and asset information using electronic asset management systems.
 * Identify asset deterioration and recommend remedial action.
 * Support engineering teams and supervise external resources where required.
 * Undertake relevant safety and on-call duties.
