## About the Role

* Strong experience designing and implementing AWS Security Architecture solutions.
 * Expert knowledge of AWS IAM (Identity & Access Management).
 * Experience securing data platforms using AWS Lake Formation.
 * Proven experience conducting threat modelling and security risk assessments.
 * Experience reviewing architecture and solution designs from a security perspective.
 * Strong understanding of cloud security controls and governance frameworks.
 * Security assurance, compliance and risk management experience.
 * Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
 * Active SC Clearance is essential.

Desirable Experience

 * Previous Central Government or Public Sector experience.
 * Knowledge of Government security standards and compliance frameworks.
 * Experience supporting large-scale cloud migration or data platform programmes.
 * Agile delivery experience.
 * Experience working across complex multi-supplier environments.

Boost Talent are supporting a leading global consultancy in the search for an experienced SFIA 5 Security Consultant to join a high-profile government data platform programme.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a nationally significant project, helping to design, assure and govern security controls across AWS-based cloud and data services within a highly regulated environment., * Design and implement security controls across AWS platform services.

 * Provide security assurance throughout the project life cycle.
 * Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments.
 * Review solution and technical architectures, identifying risks and appropriate mitigations.
 * Define security logging, monitoring and audit capabilities.
 * Support governance, compliance and deployment sign-off activities.
 * Work closely with architects, engineers and delivery teams to embed security-by-design principles.
