## About the Role

* Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
 * U.S. Citizenship
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
 * Strong Linux administration experience
 * Hands-on DevOps experience including building, deploying, and operating software
 * Broad understanding of DevOps tools and technologies
 * Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools (e.g. Chef, Nagios, Ansible, Salt)
 * Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins
 * Clear communication skills; comfortable working across development and infrastructure teams

Additional Strengths That Stand Out

 * Familiarity with continuous monitoring tools and practices
 * Development experience in Java, C, C++, or similar languages
 * Hands-on experience with Jenkins and/or SonarQube

## Description

Our work supports mission-critical federal programs where development velocity, deployment reliability, and operational discipline have to move together.
We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to serve as the connective tissue between our Linux infrastructure and application development teams - building the tools, pipelines, and processes that let engineers ship better software, faster.
What You'll Do in This Role

 * Serve as the primary interface between the Linux infrastructure team and application development teams
 * Build and maintain tools to manage and automate deployment activities
 * Enforce role separation between development and administration work
 * Maintain standard servers and services for application development teams
 * Support and administer CI/CD and monitoring tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, and Nagios
 * Manage COTS tools that support development workflows (e.g. JIRA)
