Bachelor Degree - Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, related information management field or a clinical area of study. 2. Minimum of four (4) years professional level IT experience within Database Design and Administration which includes; Demonstrated experience in the design implementation, maintenance, monitoring, performance analysis, trouble shooting, problem resolution, and user assistance required of the database environments or related Clinical Experience. 3. Minimum 4 years of experience as a Database Administrator. Experience with Oracle Database Server or Microsoft SQL Server, Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL Server technologies, Cache' or Sybase. 4. Experience with performance monitoring and tuning using statspack and database management tools (such as OEM/GRID Control). 5. Experience with enterprise level backup and recovery. Preferred Qualifications * DBA certifications in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or cloud platforms preferred. * Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle Database, advanced SQL (ANSI-standard), T-SQL, stored procedures, and query optimization. * Experience supporting enterprise and hybrid environments, including Azure and AWS SQL platforms. * Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux/UNIX, and networking concepts (IP addressing, VPNs, firewalls). ## Description Position SummaryThe IT Technical Associate (Senior Database Administrator) ensures the availability, performance, reliability, and recoverability of UI Health's high-availability database environments across Production, Test, and QA systems.
