U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Qualifications We Prefer: * Active Top-Secret clearance with investigation within five years * Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) * Mathematical modeling and analytical problem-solving * Experience in the development, testing, and troubleshooting of radar and RF hardware. * Background in radar test planning, execution, and related processes. * Ability to lead and manage a small technical team of three or more individuals ## Description Raytheon's Naval Airborne Systems (NAS), within Naval Power, is seeking a Radar Principal Systems Engineer to serve as a radar Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting multiple programs and IRAD efforts within the Advanced Sensor portfolio. Based in the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities Center in the Airborne Surveillance RF department, this engineer will collaborate closely with on-site Systems Engineers to advance radar system design and waveform development, provide technical leadership to a small team of radar analysts, and support the Chief Engineer and Lead Systems Engineer. This is an Onsite role located in Plano, Texas.
