Skills and Knowledge: Candidate must also possess: * Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") designing and developing cloud applications and platforms in AWS and Azure using API Gateways, serverless functions (Lambda, Step Functions, and Azure Functions), and core services including S3, RDS, DynamoDB, EC2, and EKS. * DE building automated CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Jenkins, Artifactory, and Concourse to streamline infrastructure provisioning and application deployment. * DE implementing observability practices with Splunk and Datadog to monitor system performance, reliability, Service Level Indicator (SLIs), and operational Metrics. * DE developing, deploying, and supporting scalable, secure Java/JavaScript applications; applying Agile methodologies across the full SDLC; and maintaining containerized, multi-cloud, multi-region deployments with automated rollback strategies. ## Description Develops complex cloud-based application architectures in Agile development environments, leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Service (S3), Application Load Balancer (ALB), and Amazon Route 53). Modernizes distributed applications using containerization technologies (Docker) and deploys services through REST Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). Develops and implements automated test cases using Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) frameworks. Implements Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure system consistency.
