## Description

The Cloud Database Admin will be responsible for managing cloud-based data solutions and supporting daily database operations and maintenance., * Partner with stakeholders, platform engineers, SMEs, and business system analysts to define business requirements and technical specifications for all data solutions hosted in cloud environments.

 * Provide technical insight and direction into the direction of database architecture, configuration, and security to best support client needs.
 * Manage and optimize AWS RDS and Azure SQL databases per client requirements, optimizing performance and tuning SQL queries to support data solutions.
 * Utilize CloudWatch and Azure Monitor to track DB performance, identify bottlenecks, and manage availability. Provide recommendations on improving DB activities and configurations.
 * Participate in disaster recovery planning and DR activities.
 * Automate tasks by creating scripts using PowerShell, BASH, and Python.
 * Provide updates to stakeholders on current status of DB operations
