Experience: 7-13 years of software engineering experience, including experience leading software teams and with the full software development lifecycle. Technical Skills: * Strong background in C and C++. * Experience with simulation development. * Proficiency in both Windows (60%) and Linux (40%) environments. * Knowledge of software architectures, design methodologies, and object-oriented coding. * Familiarity with AGILE/SCRUM methodology. * Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Atlassian Bitbucket. * Experience with development environments such as Visual Studio, GNU toolchain, or Eclipse. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with FAA certification or European aviation certification. * Background in flight simulation, including full-motion simulator platforms. * Hands-on experience with simulation systems like Semi Automated Forces (SAF), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), or Image Generators (IGs). * Experience with AR/VR/XR and mixed reality simulation environments. ## Description We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves leading the architecture and development of one or more specific Computer Software Configuration Items (CSCIs) within a software solution. You will provide technical decision-making, lead a team of software engineers, and oversee the development of a full-motion flight simulator for the VL60 aircraft.
