Proficient knowledge of popular media sites (Twitter, Facebook, etc.) is essential. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Demonstrated research and critical thinking skills to identify, collect, synthesize, and evaluate large amounts of data and draw logical and actionable conclusions, * Ability to work a flexible schedule and sometimes extended schedule during crisis periods, to include weekends and holidays * Ability to operate under stress and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under ambiguous circumstances * Self-motivated, strong organizational and multitasking skills, detail-oriented * Equally comfortable working independently or collaboratively on a project, often under compressed timelines * Highly responsive and proactive, able to own tasks from start to finish Job Requirements: Education: To qualify candidates must have a minimum of a relevant bachelor's degree; field of study such as international relations, political science, history, national security studies, government, journalism, public relations, social media management or business communications preferred. Preference given to master's degree. Experience: Currently acting in an analyst role with at least 2 years' experience with a preference given to those with experience in a dynamic security environment. Preferred if this has been within a large national, international or multi-national organization. Certification Requirements: A recognized security or development qualification from recognized organizations such as ASIS, MAX Security, Toddington, CISS, or Bellingcat is preferred, but not mandatory. Language Requirements: Spanish language fluency, oral, written, and reading, strongly preferred. ## Description The Threat & Risk Analyst leads strategic and tactical threat intelligence efforts in partnership with Global Security and Regional Security teams, with a focus on priorities in the Americas. The role supports EY's security mission by collecting, assessing, and reporting relevant intelligence to help protect personnel, facilities, assets, and reputation. The analyst monitors emerging national and international security concerns and delivers written analyses and briefings to support security programs and crisis management operations., * Monitor & track incidents for area situational awareness related to top security disciplines (i.e. Crisis Response, Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, Travel Security, Physical Security, Meetings & Events Security) * Conduct comprehensive all-source monitoring, collection and analysis of threats potentially impacting company assets in the Americas and communicate the information in a timely and accurate manner. * Produce tactical risk assessments and various other reporting as needed for threats potentially impacting company assets in the Americas. * Collaborate with Regional Security personnel and other business partners to help determine incident and threat impacts to the company and collaborate with other business units on appropriate response. * Gain and maintain an understanding of key area stakeholders' top concerns (Area leadership, Region Security Managers and other relevant partners) and produce security assessments and incident/situational reporting based on requirements. Your key responsibilities for Global Security: * Support the Global Threat & Risk process by identifying priority risk areas (e.g., geopolitical tensions, terrorism, political instability, civil unrest, crime, natural disasters) to help define top organizational concerns. * Support the Global Travel and Meetings & Events Security processes. * Remain current on security and intelligence topics. * Help develop continuous improvement and industry best practices regarding threat intelligence assessment & escalation protocols. * Build relationships with other corporate and government intelligence teams to share methodologies and analysis to better support the wide variety of our company's business groups * Build, maintain and leverage relationships with key external agencies, local/federal law enforcement, intelligence/military agencies and other public and private entities. Analytical Responsibilities: Individual will be responsible for collaborating within the EY's Global Security team, Region teams, and with other functions to further strengthen EY's internal and external security. To accomplish this, it will be important for this role to analyse the business environment, geographical variations, security requirements and stakeholder expectations. Supervision Responsibilities: Individual must be a self-starter, capable of readily managing and switching between multiple tasks and working with minimal supervision. Given the nature of the role, flexibility in schedule is required.
