## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
 * 6-10 years of relevant infrastructure or systems engineering experience
 * 10+ years of diverse IT experience preferred; financial services experience is a plus
 * Strong experience in mainframe infrastructure, system programming, or mainframe application development
 * Direct hands-on mainframe experience is required
 * Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage complex projects
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across technical and business stakeholders
 * Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem?solving capabilities

Technical Skills (Preferred)

 * z/OS, PARMLIB, UNIX System Services, HCD
 * SMP/E and maintenance routines
 * JCL, IPL processes, ISPF/TSO
 * Installation and support of IBM operating systems and ISV software
 * ITSM / ITIL practices including Release and Change Management

Experience building and sustaining enterprise mainframe platforms.

## Description

* Lead delivery of mainframe hardware and software lifecycle management initiatives
 * Manage teams supporting multiple z/OS mainframe environments
 * Provide technical leadership across core mainframe technologies including JCL, DB2, IMS, CICS, source code management, and SDLC practices
 * Oversee security mechanisms such as RACF, ACF2, and TSS
 * Drive modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of mainframe services
 * Partner with data center services, production services, and application development teams to support enterprise initiatives
 * Lead and develop managers and technical staff through coaching, mentoring, and talent development practices
 * Guide cross?functional efforts and complex programs to successful outcomes
