About the Opportunity The Associate AWS Data Engineer supports the design, development, and maintenance of cloud-native data solutions that power business automation and reporting. This role focuses on building and maintaining AWS-based data pipelines, SQL-driven transformations, and QuickSight dashboards - contributing directly to a growing portfolio of data integrations and BI initiatives. Job Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Build, test, and maintain data pipelines using AWS Lambda, Glue, and Step Functions. * Write and maintain SQL queries, views, and transformations against Athena, S3 Tables, and SQL Server. * Develop and support QuickSight dashboards and datasets for business stakeholders. * Assist in designing and maintaining ELT workflows that land data into S3-based data lakes and S3 Tables. * Monitor pipeline health and data availability using CloudWatch alarms, logs, and metrics. * Support containerized workloads and scheduled jobs running on ECS. * Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for data quality, security, and performance. * Document data flows, pipeline logic, and dashboard definitions. * Collaborate with business analysts and senior engineers to translate reporting needs into data solutions., This role works closely with the Lead Data Engineer and joins a small, high-output team supporting 20+ active data workstreams across integrations, outbound feeds, and business intelligence. Responsibilities grow steadily as skills, confidence, and domain knowledge develop with a clear path toward owning end-to-end pipeline and dashboard delivery.
