## About the Role

Please submit only candidates with strong hands-on Proofpoint enterprise experience, particularly IronPort-to-Proofpoint migration, Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway 8.x, firewall rules, block/quarantine management, Linux, and VMware experience.

Position Requirements:

Lead the migration from on-premises IronPort email security appliances to Proofpoint cloud-based email security solution, ensuring seamless transition with minimal disruption to email services.

Expert level experience designing, configuring and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise service

Experience in setting Proofpoint firewall rules and maintaining block lists; responding to requests to quarantine or release email

Deep understanding of MTA and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway 8.x

Experience with Linux Server and VM Ware, * Expert-level experience designing, configuring, implementing, and maintaining Proofpoint as an enterprise email security service.

 * Strong experience configuring Proofpoint firewall rules and maintaining email block lists.

 * Experience responding to requests to quarantine, release, and manage emails within Proofpoint.

 * Deep understanding of Mail Transfer Agents (MTA) and Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway.

 * Hands-on experience with Proofpoint Messaging Security Gateway 8.x.

 * Strong experience with Linux Server environments.

 * Experience with VMware/virtualized environments.

 * Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise email security and messaging issues.

 * Strong understanding of email security architecture, mail flow, filtering, quarantine management, and enterprise messaging infrastructure
