Experience: 2-4 years performing AOI and/or flying-probe inspections on SMT lines, preferably in aerospace or defense electronics. Technical Skills: Proficiency with AOI platforms (e.g., Omron, CyberOptics, Koh Young) and FP equipment (e.g., Teradyne, Advantest). The role requires the ability to read and interpret PCB schematics, Gerber/ODB++ data, and IPC standards, along with familiarity with defect categorization. Software: Experience with inspection data analysis tools (e.g., AOI reporting suites, NI LabVIEW for probe data, Excel/Power BI for trend analysis). Certifications: ESD-A/B certification is required. ISO/IEC 17025 or CQT (Certified Quality Technician) is preferred. Other: The ability to work shift hours, including night shift, is necessary. The position also requires the ability to lift 25 lb and stand for extended periods. The technician will operate and maintain Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) and Flying-Probe (FP) systems, validate data against engineering specifications, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve defects.
