Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Senior Manager, Blue Ring Structures & Analysis - **Company:** Blue Origin - **Location:** Pensacola, FL, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $169,008.0 - $257,329.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Biometrics, Python (Programming Language), MATLAB, Nastran (Computer-Aided Design Software), Commercial Software, Test Data, Hypermesh, Ansys, Ls-dyna - **Published:** August 14, 2026 - **Apply:** https://jobs.localjobnetwork.com/apply/add/88016988/1 ## About the Role * Minimum of a B.S. degree in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering. * 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and/or functional groups. * 8+ years of relevant industry experience in structural analysis and/or Loads & Dynamics. * Broad knowledge of space vehicle systems and how they impact structural and mechanical design. * Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum., * Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in a relevant engineering field. * Direct experience with spacecraft & launch vehicle loads development and verification. * Demonstrated experience leading teams responsible for structural dynamics, including vibroacoustic analysis, shock, and modal testing. * Experience leading the development of large structural analysis models and generating Craig-Bampton models. * Experience with dynamic (modal) testing and correlation of structures. * Proficiency with commercial software tools such as: HYPERMESH, ANSYS, NASTRAN (including DMAP), Python, MATLAB, LS-DYNA, and ADAMS. * Experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, and Cost Account Management such as Earned Value Management. * Experience managing subcontracts and external vendors. * Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance. ## Description * Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor a diverse and inclusive team of engineers responsible for Blue Ring structures engineering (design and analysis), vehicle mechanical analysis, and Loads & Dynamics. * Manage your direct reports' professional development (e.g., performance reviews, compensation and promotion management, routine one-on-one development conversations) and provide general guidance. * Direct and guide the team in the development of primary and secondary structures, ensuring designs meet technical requirements, schedule, and budget obligations. * Oversee the generation and communication of structural loads to support the development and integration of the space vehicle, mission equipment, and payloads. * Lead the development and anchoring of system and component loads, including modeling, simulation, and verification of all ground and flight regimes. * Guide the team in Finite Element Model development, validation, and correlation to test data. * Own the business rhythm and communication paths to program leadership, including business reviews, financial forecasting, and project deep dives. * Develop and maintain product roadmaps, working with internal and external customers to understand how your team's capabilities integrate to meet current and future mission needs., Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S.as a refugee or granted asylum.
