## About the Role

* 5+ years of Linux HPC-related experience, ideally with large-scale HPC system administration and hardware support
 * Strong experience with current versions of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, networking and security (Redhat/CentOS or its equivalent)
 * Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study; without a degree, three additional years of relevant professional experience (8+ years in total).
 * Working knowledge and/or experience with Linux operating systems; RHEL or SLES is preferred.

## Description

* Maintain Linux HPC/Supercomputer systems availability to the customer.
 * Preform hardware diagnostics and repairs as required.
 * Gather data, perform analysis, and escalate problems to higher-level product support groups and appropriate management when necessary to ensure timely resolution of system or customer issues.
 * Understands a broad spectrum of company technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements.
 * Works with and under the direction of the Project/Technical Manager and with customer nominated representatives.
 * Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments.
 * Communicates across client community and is viewed as adding value.
 * Demonstrates execution of the company strategy.
 * Contributes to knowledge tools and communities and ensures project learnings are documented and shared.
 * Role models knowledge sharing and re-use within practice or profession.
