Experience: Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure and hosting environments. Knowledge: * Knowledge of application hosting, distributed messaging architectures, networking technologies (VPNs, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing, and load balancing), and cloud connectivity. * Understanding of security technologies, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, public key infrastructure (PKI), authentication, authorization, and threat protection. * Demonstrated understanding of how infrastructure components work together to provide secure, reliable, and highly available hosted environments. * Knowledge of cloud services, cloud-native architectures, and infrastructure-as-code practices. * Understanding of IT security best practices, governance, compliance requirements, and cybersecurity principles. * Experience with monitoring, performance tuning, automation, and operational support of cloud environments. * Understanding of connected and embedded systems, including architectural tradeoffs, communication protocols, and integration considerations. The Cloud Engineer will partner with the onshore Scrum team on requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination, backlog management, and sprint delivery.
