Required Experience: Senior-level enterprise architecture and systems engineering experience designing secure, highly available infrastructure, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and disaster-recovery solutions in large or mission-critical environments., * Demonstrated enterprise architecture or senior systems engineering experience in mission-critical IT environments requiring high availability and 24/7 operational support. * Strong architecture knowledge of VMware ESXi/vCenter/vSphere/vSAN, virtual machines, VDI, Windows Server, Linux/RHEL, and container or OpenShift platforms. * Experience designing enterprise storage, SAN, backup, replication, recovery, and long-term retention solutions across physical and virtual workloads. * Hands-on knowledge of enterprise backup/recovery platforms such as Cohesity and Dell PowerProtect Data Manager, including interoperability with NFS, SMB, vProxy, DD Boost, NDMP, REST, S3-compatible storage, and application-aware agents. * Experience defining and validating RPO/RTO targets, high-availability patterns, redundancy, failover, restoration testing, and disaster-recovery/COOP capabilities. * Ability to produce architecture diagrams, technical recommendations, standards, roadmaps, and decision support for Government technical leaders and cross-functional teams. * Working knowledge of Army/DoD security, continuity, and system-management requirements applicable to enterprise infrastructure. * SECRET security clearance. Desired Qualifications * TOGAF, DoDAF, or comparable enterprise architecture experience or certification. * VMware VCP/VCAP, Red Hat, storage, or enterprise backup/recovery certifications. * Experience supporting Army/DoD continuity planning, Business Impact Analysis, disaster-recovery testing, and COOP reconstitution. * Experience architecting infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments. ## Description PingWind is seeking an Enterprise Architect to provide architecture leadership for PAE Fires enterprise systems, virtualization, storage, backup/recovery, and continuity capabilities.
