Preferred: * Experience leading enterprise data migration efforts from legacy systems to target-state platforms * Experience leading data engineering teams or technical workstreams * Experience translating business requirements into technical data architecture designs ## Description As a Lead Data Engineer II on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for: * Define and govern enterprise data architecture, including logical and physical data models, database schemas, and hierarchical and recursive data structures. * Design and oversee canonical data models, ontology structures, and platform data standards to support consistency, scalability, and system performance. * Lead technical oversight of data engineering delivery, including pipeline design, schema changes, code reviews, quality controls, and architectural approvals. * Direct data migration planning and execution, including sequencing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, rollback planning, and issue resolution during cutover. * Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to align architecture decisions with current operational requirements and future analytical needs., The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $110,700 to $174,600.
