The User Experience Designer provides UX and UI design for web application development teams whose applications are deployed across UC campuses and medical centers. Working in an agile environment alongside other UX/UI designers, Product Managers, UX Research, and engineers, this role owns the design of assigned product areas, driving a unified user experience across RSS applications, and designs intuitive workflows through complex product surfaces. The incumbent delivers wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed, developer-ready design specifications; contributes to the shared design system; and ensures web applications meet campus and University-wide accessibility, design, and branding standards. Independently plans and conducts usability evaluations and user research activities for assigned products. Partners with the UX Researcher and broader UX team to translate research insights into design decisions and validate design work with end users.
