To comply with the requirements of that U.S. government contract, applicants for this position must be U.S. citizens Work Environment: This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer. Under Iridium's Hybrid Work Policy, employees are expected to work at least three days per week (approximately 60%) in an Iridium office to support collaboration, relationship-building, and professional growth. ## Description Iridium is seeking a Network Engineer II to support and maintain Iridium's Gateway telecom and data architecture and associated service subsystems. In this role, you will serve as a key support resource, assisting with final-tier escalation support to ground systems operations, including Gateway Technical Operations (GTO), Tier 2 Customer Support, and Service Delivery teams. In this role, you will gain valuable experience with satellite telecom gateway technologies across on-premise and cloud environments. You will contribute directly to the triage activities that impact service reliability, operational excellence, and new service deployments.
