Preferred Additional Skills: * Demonstrated expertise with high-performance, multi-threaded programming concepts * Deep knowledge of multiple programming languages, compilers, and application execution techniques across various platforms. * Demonstrated curiosity and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technical domains outside the core discipline * Advanced proficiency in C++ and demonstrable knowledge of modern object-oriented design principles. * Experience with hands-on software development and troubleshooting on embedded targets utilizing an RTOS (Real-Time Operating System). * Advanced knowledge of signal processing, control systems theory, or networking fundamentals. * Knowledge of protocols such as IP, UDP, TCP, IPSec, DDS, SNMP, etc. * Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment * Solid presentation and writing skills * Previous professional experience working within the Department of Defense (DoD) or intelligence community. * Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance ## Description L3Harris is seeking talented Software Engineers ready to build foundational systems within our System Software group.
