## Description

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Android to join our London team. In this role, you'll help us build and scale our world-class mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and high-performance experience for our global community of users. This role is based in our London office with a hybrid setup, typically 3 days in the office.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be joining the Consumer Tech team. We focus on the end-to-end journey of our customers-from the moment they open the app to the point their meal arrives-ensuring every interaction is intuitive, fast, and reliable.

Here's what your day-to-day might look like:

 * Drive technical execution by designing, building, and scaling Android applications that handle complex, real-time interactions at a global scale.
 * Lead architectural improvements and code reviews, ensuring the maintainability, visibility, and operational health of our mobile codebase.
 * Partner with cross-functional disciplines (PMs, Experience Designers) to plan projects, assist with technical choices, and influence the team roadmap.
 * Own large-scale features from design to delivery, simplifying maintenance and promoting operational readiness across our production systems.
 * Support the growth of others by mentoring colleagues, encouraging efficiency, and taking an active role in our engineering hiring process.
