Desirable * Proven experience of executing software testing with minimal supervision. * Knowledge in scripting or programming languages (e.g. Bash, Python, Java). * Working with Linux command line tools. * Identifying tasks, dependencies and risks during backlog grooming. * Providing reasonable test estimates. * Knowledge of clinical trial and image analysis data workflows. * Working on Agile projects. Other * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical issues. * Natural drive and intellectual curiosity to investigate issues, with a genuine passion for technology. * Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities. * Desire to learn new principles of Engineering at an accelerated pace and ambition to become a subject-matter expert. ## Description The Test Engineer role is involved across a range of activities, including the evaluation of requirements, the development of test cases, execution of test scripts, and supporting subject matter experts in the completion of testing. The role holder also contributes to the continuous improvement of testing processes and the automation of testing activities. Working within an Agile environment, the role holder supports the deployment and enhancement of IXICO's flagship clinical trial management and medical image analysis platform, enabling the business to deliver imaging and digital biomarker analytical services for clinical development., The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative, but not exhaustive of the role.
