## About the Role

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline

 - Coursework in digital communication theory, digital signal processing, RF/Microwave Engineering, Antennas and Electromagnetic theory
 - Experience in DSP techniques, digital modulation, radio architecture, line-up analysis, RF system design
 - Coding and scripting skills with demonstrated experience in Matlab/Python/C++
 - Experience with simulation tools such as SystemVue, ADS or LabView
 - Experience deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment, MS in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of work experience or PhD with 2+ years of experience
 - Experience working with phased arrays, calibration and antenna measurement
 - Experience with one of the mainstream antenna simulation tools (CST/HFSS)

## Description

As a System Development Engineer, you will be responsible for integration, simulation, and test of state-of-the-art space borne phased array systems. You will work internally and cross-functionally with a multi-disciplinary team to improve test speed and data collection, perform root cause analysis, and correlate test data with end-to-end system level simulations., * Measure, validate, and perform root cause analysis on phased array systems and sub-systems

 * Interface with standard RF equipment to enable automation and efficient data collection
 * Create and/or modify new software features to enable testing of standard phased array system metrics such as EIRP, EVM, and G/T
 * Act as a liaison with the Leo software team to drive new product requirements based on RF system test needs
 * Perform end-to-end modeling, simulation, and analysis of digital phased array systems

Export Control Requirement
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
