In this role, you will play a critical part in developing andmaintainingembedded software solutions for secure communications systems. You will work in close collaboration withElectrical Circuit and FPGA Designersto deliver robust, high-performance software forcutting-edgeaerospace applications. Responsibilities * Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software for COMSEC systems * Collaborate closely with Electrical Circuit and FPGA Designers to ensure seamless hardware/software integration * Drive work across all phases of the software development lifecycle - from requirements and architecture through implementation, code review, verification, and deployment * Develop low-level drivers and firmware for embedded hardware platforms * Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and verification activities * Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and documentation * Develop and execute software verification and validation plans, including unit, integration, and automated regression tests * Implement andmaintainsecure communications and cryptographic capabilities in compliance with applicable standards * Design and integrate device authentication mechanisms and identity management solutions into embedded platforms * Support the development and implementation of Zero Trust security principles within embedded system architectures * Ensure software development adheres to applicable standards and security requirements, Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S.as a refugee or granted asylum.
