Further, the ideal candidate will have experience with software compilation, patching and security management (Windows, Linux, MacOS), and configuring and maintaining Linux automation using scripting (Bash, Lua, etc.), Ansible or Puppet, or cron jobs., Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, ComputerEngineering or a related discipline, and at least 2 years of relevant experience. Associate's degree and 3 years of relevant experience. High school diploma and 4 years of relevant experience. *The selected applicant will be required to be on-site in Charlottesville, VA as needed* Anticipated Hiring Range: $70,000 - $84,000. This position will remain open until filled. This is a non-exempt level, benefited position. TheSystemsEngineerwill work independently or collaboratively on long-term projects, designs, and overall maintenance of the existing computing environment and related services.
