Technical Skills * Strong programming experience with: * Python (required) * Spark * SQL * R and/or Scala * Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling. * Strong data engineering experience, including ETL, data preparation, and pipeline development. * Experience integrating data from cloud and on-premises environments. * Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools. * Exposure to Databricks is considered a strong asset. Preferred Experience * Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Asset Management, Trading, or Financial Regulatory environments. * Experience with cloud analytics platforms. * Building security master or market reference data solutions. * Agile delivery methodologies. * Mentoring technical team members and providing technical leadership. ## Description Our client is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and delivery of advanced analytics solutions that support data-driven decision-making across a complex financial services environment. This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines Data Science, Data Engineering, and Capital Markets expertise.
