## About the Role

* Must be a U.S. citizen, eligible for a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET security clearance*
 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree
 * 1-4 years' experience in software engineering, systems engineering and application development

Strongly Desired Experience/Qualifications:

 * Possess an active Department of Defense SECRET security clearance*
 * Experience with CAMEO or other MBSE tools
 * Experience with MATLAB, or python

*Obtaining a U.S. Government security clearance involves a comprehensive background check. Candidates are eligible for a clearance if they have demonstrated sound financial management (including good credit) over time, are free of criminal records, have limited foreign contacts or ties, and other factors indicative of a position of trust to protect information sensitive to the U.S. Government.

## Description

Sonalysts, Inc is seeking a software engineer with critical thinking and effective communication skills to perform system and software engineering functions for defense system development projects.
What you will be doing:

 * Work on interesting and challenging software project such as:

 * Developing and maintaining the Model Based Systems Engineering plan for complex Department of Defense systems of system programs
 * Modeling and simulation of undersea weapons and launcher systems
 * Participate in various aspects of software development including Application Programming Interfaces (API) development, systems integration, and testing.
 * Participate in all areas of the software development lifecycle from planning through test and sustainment.
 * Collaborate across a diverse team of developers, engineers, testers, stakeholders and end users.
 * Majority of work must be performed on site at Sonalysts or Government facilities.
