The Sr. Database Administrator (Automation & AI) is responsible for engineering, automating, and modernizing enterprise database platforms across DB2 and PostgreSQL environments. This role combines advanced database administration expertise with software engineering, AI-driven operations, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud platform automation to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is passionate about eliminating manual processes through automation and leveraging AI technologies to transform database operations., * Design,administer,andoptimizeenterprise IBM DB2 UDB and PostgreSQL databaseenvironmentsacrosson-premises,cloud,andhybridplatforms.

 * Developandmaintain automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, Shell scripting, and APIs tostreamlinedatabaseoperations.
 * Automatecriticalprocessesincluding server provisioning, database deployments, patching, upgrades, certificate management, backup validation, and compliance checks .
 * Build self-service capabilities thatenableusersandengineeringteamstoprovisionandmanagedatabaseenvironmentswithminimalmanualintervention.
 * Leaddatabase upgrades, migrations, modernization initiatives, and high-availability implementations toimproveplatformresiliency.
 * Implementandsupport AI-driven operational solutions forincidenttriage,rootcauseanalysis,capacityforecasting,performancediagnostics,andrunbookgeneration.
