You work directly against tools, cell controllers, handlers, testers, and MES boundary applications, ensuring reliable, automated production flow in a 24x7 semiconductor manufacturing environment. * Develop, configure, and support real-time manufacturing systems that connect production equipment to MES and factory data platforms, including cell controllers, equipment interfaces, recipe management, data collection, and material-tracking applications. * Implement and maintain equipment integration using SECS/GEM and related tool-communication standards, ensuring reliable handshakes, recipe downloads, and event/data capture between tools, handlers, and fab systems. * Troubleshoot and resolve production-impacting incidents on live equipment and automation systems, restoring flow quickly and driving root-cause correction to prevent recurrence. * Build and support automation that reduces manual operator touchpoints, such as comprehensive tool automation, data pushers, log-file collection, and barcode/material-tracking flows, improving cycle time and labor productivity. * Partner with process, test, and equipment engineering to onboard new tools and enhancements, validating that equipment integration and data capture meet production and quality requirements. * Ensure accurate, complete capture of manufacturing and test data (lot, wafer, unit, recipe, event, and STDF/test-summary data) needed for engineering, yield, and quality analysis. * Follow controlled change, testing, and release discipline for production systems, maintaining traceability and protecting fab and assembly/test uptime. * Support cybersecurity, SOX, and data-governance requirements for fab-floor and equipment-connected systems. ## Related Videos - [More efficient software for more efficient microchips](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1164-more-efficient-software-for-more-efficient-microchips) - [It's all about the Data](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/425-it-s-all-about-the-data) - [JavaScript?
