## About the Role

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or related field and five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires Three (3) years of experience in the following:

 * Design, implementation, debugging, and maintenance of graphics technology sub-systems;
 * Programming in C or C++;
 * Utilizing 3D GPU-accelerated graphics to create applications that use interactive visual elements;
 * Working with High-Level Shading Language (HLSL) to write programs that run on a graphics processor (GPU);
 * CPU and GPU optimization to maximize hardware performance for applications;
 * Modern graphics standard experience such as DX12 and/or Vulkan;
 * Building and optimizing software for PC GPU gaming, gaming console, or handheld portable gaming devices;
 * Using DirectX and Direct3D to create high-performance multimedia applications; and
 * GPU programming to design and optimize software to leverage Graphics Processing Units for high-performance tasks like AI, scientific simulations, or gaming.
