Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # QA/QC Technician - **Company:** Vireo Resources, LLC - **Location:** Nashville, TN, United States - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Spreadsheets, Microsoft SharePoint, Software Systems - **Published:** August 15, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.wayup.com/i-j-QA-QC-Technician-Vireo-Resources-LLC-346995543940494/ ## About the Role + At least one year of experience in quality assurance, quality control, laboratory testing, or manufacturing with a related degree; or at least two years of relevant QA/QC experience without a degree. + Experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment such as dietary supplements, food, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, personal care products, or medical devices strongly preferred. + Familiarity with investigations, corrective and preventive actions, customer complaints, deviations, and root-cause analysis preferred. + Basic understanding of equipment calibration, laboratory practices, and the proper use, cleaning, and care of quality-testing equipment. + Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic quality or document-management systems. + Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and complete time-sensitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Ability to work independently while consistently enforcing quality and compliance requirements. + Dependable attendance and willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or nonstandard hours as operational needs require. + Associate or bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Quality Assurance, or a related scientific field preferred. + Travel up to 20% Physical Demands / Work Environment: + Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours. + Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs. ## Description The QA Technician supports Vireo Resources' commitment to delivering safe, consistent, and high-quality products by monitoring manufacturing activities and helping ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), internal quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. This role performs production-floor inspections, in-process quality checks, product and material sampling, environmental monitoring, and documentation reviews. The QA Technician maintains accurate quality records, identifies and communicates potential quality concerns, and assists with investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and third-party laboratory coordination. Working closely with Quality, Production, and Operations teams, this position helps ensure products, processes, equipment, and manufacturing areas consistently meet established quality and compliance expectations.
