## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or
 + Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 4 years of experience, or
 + 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Strong understanding of Visual Basic (VB) programming.
 * Experience with LabVIEW.
 * Familiarity with RF and digital electronics.
 * Understanding of software-controlled test equipment, including:
 + Oscilloscopes
 + Digital multimeters
 + Signal generators
 + Power supplies
 + Thermal chambers
 * Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing environments and AS9100.
 * Familiarity with avionics buses including:
 + MIL-STD-1553
 + ARINC
 + CAN
 + RS485
 + RS232
 + IEEE 1394
 * Familiarity with ALM JIRA and Agile project management.
 * Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
 * Nice-to-have programming experience:
 + Java
 + JavaScript

## Description

* Join the Sensors Test Engineering team supporting production of commercial, military, and defense sensor products.
 * Lead the definition, design, development, troubleshooting, and integration of test software for production test solutions.
 * Serve as an expert individual contributor working with engineers and technicians in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

 * Lead the research, design, development, and testing of software solutions and networks.
 * Troubleshoot software and electrical device issues on the production line.
 * Provide strategic engineering guidance on design concepts, requirements, equipment utilization, and coding techniques.
 * Collaborate with engineers, operators, and technicians in a team environment.
 * Design and review major functional test software components and present findings.
 * Develop processes, procedures, and best practices for test software development in manufacturing.
 * Present project and technical information during design reviews to peers, management, and customers.
